Preparation
- Crack the eggs into a bowl.
- Add chopped onion, green chilli, salt, and pepper.
- Beat well until the mixture becomes light and slightly frothy.
Method
- Heat a pan on medium flame and add oil or butter.
- Pour the beaten egg mixture into the pan and spread gently.
- Place the bread slices on top of the omelette.
- Cook until the bottom side is set and lightly golden.
- Carefully flip the omelette so the bread side comes down.
- Cook for another 1–2 minutes until the bread turns crisp.
- Remove from pan, fold or cut into pieces.
