  • Eggs – 2
  • Vegetable oil – 1/2 cup (100 ml)
  • Milk – 1/3 cup (80 ml)
  • Refined flour (maida) – 4¼ cups (500 g)
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1/4 tsp

Preparation Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
  3. Add vegetable oil and milk, then mix well until everything is fully combined.
  4. In another bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and mix to form a soft dough.
  6. Take small portions of dough, roll them into balls, and gently flatten them into cookie shapes.
  7. Arrange the cookies on the baking tray, leaving a little space between each one.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the edges turn light golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely. They will become slightly firmer as they cool.
