Varalakshmi Vratam is a sacred Hindu festival celebrated predominantly by married women in South India (Andhra Pradesh, Telangana).

- Kudumulu (steamed rice flour dumplings)
- Bellam Thalikalu (jaggery rice flour noodles)
- Poornam Boorelu (jaggery-chana dal stuffed sweet fritters)
- Pachi Chalimidi (raw rice flour and jaggery mixture)
- Sweet Pongal (chakkera pongali)
- Pulihora (tamarind rice)
- Payasam (kheer)
- Talimpu Senagalu (tempered chana)
- Garelu (deep-fried urad dal vadas)
- Daddojanam(curd rice)
- Vada Pappu (soaked moong dal without seasoning)
- Paanakam (sweet jaggery water with cardamom & pepper).
All items should be prepared fresh, in a clean and sattvic manner, and offered with devotion.
